Our Barcelona adventure and other travel stories

Season´s Greetings

We hope that you had enjoyable Christmas days together with your family and beloved ones. As year end is approaching we would like to thank you for having followed us through 2018. It was an exciting year: Setting up our own businesses, exploring more of Barcelona and Catalonia and of course having fun!

We are looking forward to an exciting 2019 and wish you and your families and beloved ones a great start in the new year, health and most of all – fun!

Christian & Michael

PS: Let´s look back together on…

… The Barcelona Feeling

Inspired by a friend we have started building up our own tour business in Barcelona in the beginning of the year: The Barcelona Feeling – Private Guided Tours. With a focus on small groups, personal and away from the standard tourist routes our private tours are designed to let you discover more than the usual. Ranging from an “Exlusive Cava and Chocolate Experience“, to “Explore hidden streets” that became our signature tour, to “Feel like Gaudí” where you learn about Gaudí during a walking tour and then create your own souvenir in Gaudi´s mosaic technique – all of them offer unique experiences. Thank you to everyone who joined one of these tours in the past year!

I would like to share a few of the many reviews that we have received:

Daryl from West Chester, PA, USA wrote: “When you find a tour that brings a guide that is passionate about what he does, complemented with a solid knowledge of Barcelona, with some unique perspectives that he incorporates into his tour, you get Christian, and that is wonderful”

Alice, Wethersfield, CT, USA provided feedback: “Amazing day! Cava, chocolate and a very knowledgeable tour guide who feels more like an old friend, it doesn’t get any better! Christian has access to a very old Cava House/Cellar and it was just so cool! We felt like VIP’s. After touring the cellars and watching them disgorge and cork the bottles we had a tasting in their beautiful garden . Great great Cava …and many options. We took advantage of the lunch add on and it was spectacular. Delicious and very reasonably priced. Then on to Simon Coll, chocolate chocolate chocolate! I wish I bought more. Very professional tour of their facility and generous tasting . Take this tour, we had a great time learned so much on this delicious day away from the city. Would give it 10 ?? if I could Thank you Christian!”

… The Amsterdam Feeling

Inspired by the positive feedback throughout the whole year we have now launched The Amsterdam Feeling where we will role out a similar concept for private tours in 2019.

… Exploring more

In 2018 we were able to discover many more places in Barcelona and surroundings. Especially our trips to the South (wine region Priorat) and the North of Catalonia (Girona) were amazing. You may have followed several posts throughout the year. But I would like to re-share a couple of photos with you.

… Having fun

Having fun in life is of course most important. So not only exploring more in Catalonia or California was fun but also meeting people and family, making new friendships, parties or starting Salsa classes:

Happy New Year 2019!
