Finally we are having internet again at home – it does not matter in which country you are but if you have a technical problem with a telecom company it can be quite a nightmare! As Orange was not able to fix the problem we had to change to Movistar. But getting us connected again was also a challenge for them and cost us a lot of (waiting) time. So from now on I can

First Day of Sabbatical

The first day in Spain we enjoyed at a beautiful natural beach in Sitges where we met our friends André and Sandro from Berlin. Adios, my beloved hybrid (electric) car!

After 4.5 years I said goodbye to my hybrid car: Opel Ampera. I drove nearly 170,000 km without any major issue. It has been super reliable and I managed using 4,8 l petrol per 100km throughout the whole life time. Considering that I have been living downtown Amsterdam with busy charging points and also an office with insufficient charging points for all my colleague lease riders it is still a very good result.
