During this summer we did a couple of out of town trips and discovered beautiful areas in Catalonia. As Michael read how amazing the Priorat area was supposed to be we decided to rent a car and drive there on a Saturday and find out on our own. So about a 1:45 hours drive to the South of Barcelona, not too far from Tarragona, we arrived to the comarca (county) that is only scarcely populated.

I am happy to present you our project The Barcelona Feeling. In 2017 the idea developed that we would like to share our fascination about Barcelona with other travellers from all over the world. It was the moment when The Barcelona Feeling was born. So in the beginning of this year we have launched our own business: The Barcelona Feeling offers private guided tours in Barcelona and its proximity. We focus our tours on non-mainstream sites
We finished our weekend in Tarragona with spending the Sunday on the beach. Playa Llarga is a good choice. It has a long sand beach that also invites for a nice walk along the water. If you are willing to walk for even 30 minutes you can also reach a small natural bay where we went last year already. However, this day we were lazy and just enjoyed the short distance from the parking lot
On Saturday we went to visit to the lovely town of Altafulla. Very quiet and very picturesque. It has a well preserved old quarter crowned by the Castle of Altafulla. Another medieval castle is situated on a small promontory overlooking the sea and an old fishing quarter dating back to the 18th century by the beach. We strolled through the town… …and found our new home 🙂 Unfortunately not for sale 🙂 The afternoon we
