We finished that day by walking around in San Telmo. San Telmo is the cultural quarter of Buenos Aires with a lot of Milongas (Tango bars) and other cultural places, theaters and artists, antique stores and markets on the weekend.

Our Spanish class started on Monday. Michael joined a beginners class, Christian an advanced beginners class. Both classes only comprise two students so it is very intense. On Monday, February 8th we arrived finally to Buenos Aires – the place we chose to spend about 2 months in order to learn Spanish. A driver brought us directly to our apartment in Palermo which was luckily as described on the internet and according to the photos we saw. February 6th, 2010: Inside the Samba school Friday afternoon we went to the Samba school of Vila Vilha do get our costumes for the carneval parade. The place was bustling with activity. It was not really clear to us what was happening and why, but in the end we managed to get our dresses.
